  • US Botanic Garden Seasons Greetings: The U.S. Botanic Garden gets decked out for the holidays thanks to this annual exhibit featuring a model train exhibit running through 45 plant-based models of national parks and historic places like the Grand Canyon, the Statue of Liberty and many more.   • Swedish Christmas Bazaar. The bazaar will feature Swedish arts & crafts; crystal, textiles, artwork, books, decorations, and much more.   • MetroCooking DC 2016: This year marks the 11th annual MetroCooking DC Show! The ultimate food lover’s weekend returns to the Washington Convention Center.   • Reindeer Run: Kick off the holiday season with a jolly jog or stroll (1 mile or 5k fun run/walk) through the beautiful streets of Capitol Hill! This fundraising event is sponsored by Howl To The Chief and Summit To Soul and is open to all fitness levels. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit the "underdogs" of Rural Dog Rescue.
