This 7th street spot is known for its fun, rotating pop up bars. From Super Mario brothers to cherry blossoms to Game of Thrones-- they're back at it again with Miracle on 7th Street. Sip on fun holiday inspired cocktails while grooving to seasonal tunes. *Tip* Dress warm, because this spot is known for its lines to wrap around the block. This pop up runs until Christmas Eve and admission is free.

I know what you might be thinking: "are you expecting me to sit on some beer garden's patio in December? No thanks."
Yeah, same here. But what if the patio is heated and has fire pits, blankets, and hot toddies? Mind changed. Wunter Garten invites you to enjoy photos with Santa, pop-up markets, DIY workshops, food and a Christmas tree lot all while hanging on their toasty patio sipping on winter brews. Winterfest runs until December 17th and admission is free.

Downtown Holiday Market
After strolling through the American Art Museum, check out over 180 vendors whose booths surround the museum. Going for it's 13th year, the Downtown Holiday Market has everything from live music, to yummy foods, to gifts for your mom.
Noon to 8 pm daily. Running until December 23rd at 8th & F St NW.
The Heurich Museum invites guests for museum tours and intimate shopping experiences Friday evenings from 5-8 pm where guests can take self guided tours around the museum and enjoy the Mini Martks vendors. From December 1-3rd, you can catch the main Christkindl Market.

This year, Eastern Market Main Street is happy to support and celebrate local businesses with The Holly Days! Businesses big and small encourage you to shop local and celebrate the season in this historic DC corridor. The Holly Days shop runs through December 31st.

The Christmas tree will be lit every day from 4:30 pm - 10 pm at Presidents Park. It's free and you're welcome to check out the huge tree from 10 am - 10 pm starting December 1st. There will also be nightly entertainment! You can check out the fill list and schedule here.
The White House
Every year, the Smithsonian National Zoo shows off more than 500,000 environmentally friendly LED lights that transform the zoo into a winter wonderland of lights! In addition to family friendly activities such as snow tubing, carousel rides, hot chocolate and s'mores stations there will be live music and more! This year, catch the CulturalDC's SPACE4 Mobile Art Gallery and the new Glow Zone! Enjoy Zoolight fun from 5-9 pm until January 1st.
This year, U.S Botanic Garden's display theme is roadside attractions. Catch the show as model trains chug around, below and throughout plant based recreations of iconic sights from around the United States. You can catch the model train show up until January 1st.

From November 18th until March 11th, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Sculpture Garden whilst iceskating! Admission is $9 for adults plus $3.50 for skate rentals.
The National Gallery of Art
Experience Georgetown with the sparkle of the holiday season. The 2017 Georgwtown Glow invites you to celebrate the season through outdoor public art. Installations will be throughout the Georgetown neighborhood where you can connect and play with each piece. GLOW runs from December 8th - January 7th from 5-10 pm daily.

On December 12th, grab your free ticket and check out the annual lighting of the National Menorah in front of the White House! Attended every year by thousands, this event has become the premier symbol of the festal of Chanukah. Tickets are free and are required for entrance!
