Private Hotel Rooms
Each room at HighRoad is unique from the next. Historic features of the building are sprinkled throughout the rooms and the building. Each private room has a full bathroom inside the room. Bathroom showers in the private rooms have rainfall showerheads for a spa-like experience. Each private room includes free Wi-Fi, TV with DirectTV premium channels, numerous coat hooks, luggage storage racks, a portable work desk, a hotel-style digital safe for valuables, independently controlled heating and cooling, USB charging ports, personal amenities, and a hairdryer. Ironing boards and irons are available to add to your room when you need them.
Please note that there is no elevator at HighRoad nor lift to ascend the front steps in our historic building -- therefore the use of stairs is required to reach every room and to enter the historic building.
Cozy Queen Room

A compact, functionally designed room with one queen-size bed and an in-room bathroom with rainfall shower for a spa-like experience. Deluxe Queen Room (pLUS Extra Fold-Out Floor Mattress)

A room with one queen bed and one twin-size fold-out floor mattress and an in-room bathroom with a rainfall shower. The room features a custom-made timber bedframe with 18” of clearance below which can be used for luggage storage or to store the extra fold-out twin-size floor mattress. The room features dimmable ambience lighting, velvet curtains, a padded vegan leather backrest, portable luggage racks, ample hooks and hangers, seating options, TV with premium channels, free Wi-Fi, and a hotel-style digital safe.

Double Bunk Room
(1-2 People)
(Use of a ladder is required FOR UPPER BED)
A room with two twin size mattresses arranged in a bunk-bed format with private bathroom.
The room has an in-room full bathroom with a rainfall shower. The bunk bed frame is custom made and includes convenience outlets with plugs and USB chargers as well as reading lights.
The room also features dimmable lighting, velvet curtains, portable luggage racks, ample hooks and hangers, seating options, free Wi-Fi, and a hotel-style digital safe.

Queen bed oVER FULL Bed

This is a unique style room you won’t see in a typical hotel, but the opportunity to create a special room like this was too much fun to pass up.
This room is located on the third floor of the property, so it is up two flights of stairs from the lobby.

Duplex Level Room Top Floor
(1-5 People) (Use of a ladder is required)
This two-level room is located on our top floor, has two levels to it, and generous oversized windows that overlook the front streetscape. The room can hold 1 to 5 people, and is arranged with a queen bed plus twin bed on the upper level and two twin beds on the lower level. The TV and full bathroom are located on the lower level of the room.
Please note: (1) The upper level is accessible by using a ladder, and (2) the upper level uses space reclaimed from the historic attic and therefore has a head height of only approximately 5-1/2 to 6 feet which will be a little too low for most people to fully stand up when in the upper level.
The two twin beds on the lower level can be adjusted to either be stacked to create a couch for watching TV, or unstacked and used as two separate twin beds side by side. [Back to Top]
Lobby Level Rooms
Rooms located on the lobby level are near the action of the lobby and may detect noise from the lobby that other rooms wouldn’t. Therefore we label these rooms specially and let you either book them at a discount or avoid them if you are a light sleeper. On the plus side, once you are in the lobby you don’t need to go up or down any other stairs to reach these rooms.
All of the lobby-level rooms will be labeled as “Lobby Level” in the room name in order to make it clear it is on the lobby level.
Lower-Level Rooms
Our historic building has a garden-level which is located one level down from the lobby. Rooms in this level will be labeled “Lower-Level” in the name of the room.
These rooms are generally larger than other rooms and will have a tile floor decorated with accent rugs. The ceiling height will be 8 feet or less in the lower level, as compared to typical 9 feet in the lobby and upper levels. The Lower-Level rooms will also have two exits from the room: (1) the typical door to the interior corridor, and (2) a second exit from the room which leads directly to the outdoors.
All Lower-Level rooms have adjustable Speakman style massage showerheads. All the lower level rooms contain the same beloved amenities typical to all our rooms at HighRoad: custom-made timber furniture with 18” of clearance below for under-bed luggage storage, dimmable ambience lighting, velvet curtains, a padded vegan leather backrest, portable luggage racks, ample hooks and hangers, seating options, TV with premium channels, free Wi-Fi, and a hotel-style digital safe.

Unique private room and bathroom. This room has a bunkbed with a full sized bed on the bottom and a twin sized bed on top. Perfect for one or two people with a maximum of 3 adults. The room also comes with a desk and chair. The private bathroom has a glass shower enclosure.
